We're so excited as we are roughly 3 months away from the day! However, given the number of super popular events happening around the city that day, hotel prices have climbed and the Hyatt is no longer honoring the wedding rate discount.
We weren't able to get a wedding rate elsewhere, however the Congress Plaza Hotel has plenty of availability and prices are significantly less as of right now. If staying at the Congress, be mindful of travel times to the venue, which can be up to an hour given city traffic. Please know that the shuttle will only be departing from the Hyatt.

Dress Code
For the wedding, we kindly request guests to adhere to a semi-formal dress code. Semi-formal attire typically includes cocktail dresses, dressy separates, or suits. Please dress elegantly while feeling comfortable to celebrate with us.
For the Ceremony
Please celebrate this intimate moment with us by silencing and putting away your cell phones. No photos or videos will be allowed during the ceremony, our incredibly talented photographer will help capture the magic in the room.

Parking
Park in Chicago can be a little challenging, but not impossible! Metered street parking is available throughout the city. For guests driving in, We would recommend using Spot Hero for more affordable parking options.
We strongly encourage using ride share services like Uber and Lyft, or public transportation via CTA.
Traffic
Its no secret, Chicago has some of the worst traffic congestion in the US.
While the wedding venue may be within only a few miles of where you choose to stay, estimate additional travel time on top of your map's estimate.
For instance, if you are heading to the venue from the Hyatt Place, please allot 20 - 30 minutes for traffic. From downtown to the wedding venue, please give yourself at least 1 hour.
Lodging
If the Hyatt Wicker Park isn't quite your speed, there are plenty of other options available. For areas closer to the wedding venue, AirBnB or vrbo will be your best bet.
If you're looking to scope out more of the quintessential downtown experience, hotels like The Congress Plaza or the Holiday Inn have great views and put you in the heart of the city.
